Yes, it's the same SeniorContact app. On your phone, it works like a classic communication app: you send messages, make calls, set reminders, and manage contacts. On your senior's tablet, everything becomes easy to use: a photo slideshow during the day, messages that appear full-screen, and simple one-tap calls.

No worries! SeniorContact needs a tablet for your senior, but you can keep setting things up on your phone in the meantime. An unused tablet at home is often perfect. If you need to buy one, an iPad is a great choice, and Android tablets work too.

Yes! You get one month free to try SeniorContact with your senior, with no commitment. After the trial, your subscription continues automatically so you keep full access. You can manage or cancel it anytime from your App Store or Google Play settings.

To get started, a family member needs to set up the tablet for you: they install SeniorContact on their phone and follow a few simple steps. Ask a son, daughter, or someone you trust to help you get started.

Either works! Your senior's tablet just needs a constant internet connection, Wi‑Fi or cellular data, so it can receive messages, calls, and updates. At home, Wi‑Fi is usually the simplest option.

On your phone, open Contacts and add a contact by email. Each senior can have up to 8 contacts in total, including you as administrator. You can also set their slideshow and reminder permissions when you invite them. They install the app, choose «I've been invited by someone to join a senior», and enter the code from their email.

Quite a lot! All contacts can stay in touch with your senior through messages and calls. As the administrator, on your phone, open Contacts → contact settings to decide what each contact is allowed to do: add photos to the slideshow, manage the slideshow, create their own reminders, or manage all reminders.

On your phone, open Contacts → contact settings, and choose «Remove from contacts». Only the administrator can remove contacts.

On your phone, on the Contacts page, tap the cog icon in the top right to open your contact settings, then choose «Leave this senior». Your messages and other data attached to this senior will be permanently deleted.

On your phone, open Contacts → contact settings for the person taking over, and choose «Transfer administration». The new administrator will get an email and needs an active subscription to keep the senior active.

On your phone, open the conversation with your senior. Type a message, or add a photo, voice note, or video, then send. Your senior will see it right away on their tablet, often full-screen so it's easy to read.

If the senior's tablet is set to «Locked to interface» (the app stays on screen and they can't leave it), yes: keep it plugged in at all times so SeniorContact can keep running. It also needs a constant Wi‑Fi or cellular connection. If you chose «Free use» instead, the senior can leave the app to use the rest of the tablet, so normal charging is fine. Just make sure the tablet has internet when they use SeniorContact.

On your phone, open Tablet and choose how the home screen looks: a photo slideshow, a wallpaper, or a calendar clock. You can switch between these modes at any time.

On your phone, open Tablet → Night mode, and set the schedule. During night mode, messages, calls, and reminders are paused so your senior can rest.

In the SeniorContact app, open Settings → Security and tap «Delete account». The app walks you through each step. If you no longer have the app, cancel your subscription in the App Store or Google Play if it's still active, then email us with the subject «Account Deletion Request».

Your subscription renews automatically so you keep full access. You can manage or cancel it anytime from your App Store or Google Play subscription settings.

On the subscription screen, enter your referral code to get an extra month free. You'll find the code field when you subscribe or upgrade your plan.

Subscriptions are managed through Apple or Google. On iPhone, open the App Store, tap your profile icon, then Subscriptions, and select SeniorContact. On Android, open Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions, then select SeniorContact.

If the administrator's subscription stays expired for more than 7 days, the senior is disabled. That means nobody can send messages, make calls, or create reminders until the subscription is renewed.

Check that the tablet is connected to Wi‑Fi and plugged in to charge. Then open SeniorContact on the tablet. If it still shows offline, restart the tablet and try again, or contact us if you're still stuck.

Make sure the tablet is plugged into a working power outlet with a cable that charges properly. SeniorContact needs the tablet to stay plugged in. If it still won't charge, try another outlet or cable, then restart the tablet.

Make sure both your phone and the tablet are online, then start the link flow again and enter the code shown on the tablet. If the code still doesn't work, see «My invitation or link code doesn't work. Why?» below. If nothing helps, contact us with a screenshot.

Double-check the code, with no extra spaces. If it's expired or already used: for a contact invitation, ask the person who invited you to send a new invite by email; to link a tablet, tap «Get a new code» on the tablet and try again from your phone. If it still fails, contact us.

Check that your phone and the tablet both have internet (Wi‑Fi or cellular), and that the tablet isn't in Night mode. If the tablet still looks offline, plug it in, open SeniorContact, and restart it if needed, or contact us if you're still stuck.

On the login screen on your phone, tap «Forgot password?» and enter the email linked to your account. We'll send you a code so you can choose a new password. If you signed up with Apple, Google, or Facebook, use that same option to sign in instead.
